Neutral Command Guide

A concise reference for wake behavior, microphone controls, memory operations, motion commands, and utilities.

Wake & Ambient Gate

  • “Juniper.” Activates listening mode.
  • Accepted pronunciations: “Jennifer…”, “Junipher…”.
  • No wake word: Ignored while ambient-safety is on.

Core Controls (Mic & Speech)

  • “Juniper stop talking.” Interrupts speech output.
  • “Juniper stop listening.” Disables the mic.
  • “Juniper start listening.” Re-enables the mic.

Time • Weather • Battery

  • “Juniper what time is it?” Returns the current time.
  • “Juniper what’s the weather?” Temperature + conditions (requires API key).
  • “Juniper battery status.” Battery % or fallback line.

Memory Mode (Enter • Save • Exit)

  • “Juniper memory mode.” Activates Memory Mode and prompts for input.
  • Examples: “Remember my favorite coffee is espresso.” / “Note that my daily goal is 20 push-ups.”
  • Exit phrases: “Stop.” “Stop memory mode.” “Exit.” “Done.” “Cancel.”
  • Idle timeout: Auto-exit after ~25s of silence.

Quick Memory Saves

  • “Juniper remember: my appointment is Friday at 3 PM.”
  • “Juniper my favorite burger is Brunch Burger.” (preference save)

Recall (Stored Values & Summaries)

  • “Juniper what’s my favorite coffee?” Retrieves saved preference.
  • “Juniper what’s my daily goal?” Retrieves saved goal.
  • “Juniper what do you remember about goals?” Summary of related entries.

Completion Catch

  • “Juniper what’s my favorite …” (pause) “… book.” Captures and completes multi-phrase queries.

Motion Commands (DOGZILLA / XGO)

Use the wake word: e.g., “Juniper sit.”

Chat (Ambient-Safe)

  • “Juniper tell me a fun fact.” Short spoken reply.
  • No wake word: No response when ambient-safety is enabled.

Stress & Overlap (Stability)

  • Back-to-back: “Juniper what time is it?” → “Juniper what’s the weather?” → “Juniper battery.”
  • System remains responsive; no mic lockout.

Realtime Follow-ups

  • “Juniper remember …” (pause) “… to order more Fairlife.” Full statement saved after the pause.

Troubleshooting Voice Lines

  • “Juniper start listening.” Restores the microphone if disabled.
  • “Juniper stop listening.” / “Juniper start listening.” Manual toggle.
